BRENTWOOD TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB, nickname "The Blues", is based at The Brentwood Centre in Doddinghurst Road, approximately one mile north of the town centre. We run six sides, two senior league sides and four youth teams, at Under 18, Under 16 age groups and two at the Under 15 age group. Brentwood Town Ladies run one senior side and five junior sides at Under 18, Under 16, Under 14, Under 12 and Under 10 age groups.
The first team play in the Ryman Isthmian League Division One North, a competition that is at Step 4 of the National League System. For season 2009/10 the Club have also entered the Capital League, with players being selected from the First Team and Youth squads against similar senior league clubs from mainly Essex and Hertfordshire. The Under 18s, Under 16s and the two Under 15 teams play in the Eastern Junior Alliance, a youth league comprised of senior and intermediate clubs in Essex and the Eastern Counties.

Membership

New members and players are always welcome. Please email the club if you wish to inquire about membership.

Brief History

The club was originally founded in 1954 as Manor Athletic. We played under the name of Brentwood FC from 1972, but our fifty year celebrations coincide with another change of name for the Club, and from the 2004/05 season we will be known as Brentwood Town. It is not the first time that there has been a club called Brentwood Town and that is part of the history of football in the town of Brentwood which is chronicled in our history pages.

Football Facilities

The main playing area at the Brentwood Centre is The Arena which has an enclosed pitch, perimeter barrier, perimeter path, a clubhouse and changing rooms. Floodlights were installed in 1999. There is cover and seating for 150 people outside the clubhouse and a covered standing area for approximately 100 people behind one goal. There are also pitches outside the main arena for use by the Ladies and Youth sections and a Floodlit area which is used for training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the season.

Facilities for the Disabled

There is easy access to the clubhouse and toilet facilities for disabled visitors.

Clubhouse and Bar

The bar is open on all Saturday and Sunday match days and on Tuesday and Thursday training nights, serving a good range of beers, wines and spirits.
