Midfielder Sam Park returned to Brentwood Town in June 2024 from Heybridge Swifts, reuniting with the club where his football journey first began. A product of Brentwood’s youth system, Sam broke into the First Team in 2019 as a teenager and went on to make 34 appearances, scoring twice, before moving to the Swifts in February 2023.
At Heybridge, Sam established himself as a key figure, particularly in their cup runs. He opened the scoring in a 3-2 Isuzu FA Trophy victory over Barton Rovers and struck again in the Third Qualifying Round against Chatham Town. In 2023, he also delivered one of his standout moments, netting the decisive goal in a 1-0 win over Felixstowe & Walton United that secured Heybridge a place in the Isthmian North Play-Off Semi-Final.
The 2023/24 season saw Sam continue his development, contributing seven goals from midfield in 23 appearances, including a vital equaliser against Bowers & Pitsea. At just 22, he returns to Brentwood with added experience and attacking threat, eager to make his mark once again.
