Striker Charlee Hughes re-joined Brentwood Town in June 2025 from Aveley, returning for his second spell at the club following their promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division. A proven goalscorer at this level, Charlee adds both firepower and experience to the Blues’ frontline as they prepare for the challenges of a higher division.
Charlee began his football journey in the academy of Football League side Leyton Orient before building his senior career across non-league. Over the years he has featured for a number of clubs between Steps 4 and 1, including Wealdstone, Hemel Hempstead, and Maldon & Tiptree, developing a reputation as a consistent and clinical striker.
During his earlier spell at Brentwood, Charlee cemented his place in the club’s history by winning the Isthmian North Golden Boot, an achievement he repeated the following season at Maldon & Tiptree with another prolific campaign. Known for his strength, movement, and natural eye for goal, Charlee brings pedigree and proven quality to Brentwood’s attack.
