Academy
Welcome to the ‘Centre of Excellence’ Academy setup at Brentwood Town FC.
Founded in 1954, our club aims to offer the very best development opportunities for young home-grown boys and girls. This is achieved by giving them every possibility to meet realistic achievable targets, following our academy ethos and a clear pathway through to official U13’s EJA Academy football and on to senior semi-professional football at the club. The Centre of Excellence starts from Preschool & Reception classes and runs through to Year 7 and then continues through to our U8 (U13’s) EJA Academy setup at the club.
As an academy setup, we monitor all our players to ensure they’re developing at the correct level to maximise their own development. The attention to detail under an academy environment is at it’s highest by the careful selection of Professional FA Coaches for each specific age group, along with a head coaching team of experienced senior academy coaches. All of whom have the necessary knowledge within Youth-Academy football to provide eveything your child requires from preschool to Year 7 and beyond. This allows parents to be parents – simply sit back and support your child’s development at Brentwood Town FC Centre of Excellence Academy.

EJA Teams
The Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) league is seen as a stepping stone between the academy level of professional clubs and regular youth level in all counties. The EJA gives young players the chance to progress their game to an increased level both on and off the pitch.
Many players that have come through our youth set up have gone on to have very successful football careers at both non-league and professional level; including current first team players such as Shad Ngandu, Sam Park, Andy Freeman, Danny Ogunleye and Lee Noble.
At Brentwood Town, for the 2025/26 season we are running four different age groups at U13, U14, U18’s level and our brand new Under 23s side who will be playing in the Essex Senior League Reserve Division.
