Centre midfielder Louie Johnson joined Brentwood Town ahead of the 2025/26 season, bringing with him both talent and an impressive track record from his previous clubs. Louie began his senior career with Enfield FC before moving to Redbridge, where he made history by helping the club lift the Essex Senior Cup for the very first time. His early success marked him out as a promising young player capable of influencing big occasions.
Spells at Bishop’s Stortford and Bedford Town followed, furthering his experience across non-league football, before Louie signed for Walthamstow. It was there, during the 2024/25 campaign, that he enjoyed a breakthrough season, finishing as the club’s top goalscorer with 18 goals and contributing 10 assists from midfield. His outstanding form saw him sweep the board at the end-of-season awards, picking up the Managers’, Players’, Supporters’, and Young Player of the Year trophies.
Now at Brentwood, Louie adds creativity, energy, and a real attacking threat from midfield as he looks to continue his upward progression and make an impact in the Isthmian Premier Division.
