Centre midfielder Shad Ngandu re-joined Brentwood Town in October 2023, bringing with him valuable experience from spells at Aveley, Hythe Town, Maldon & Tiptree, and Great Wakering Rovers. A product of the Brentwood academy, Shad knows the club inside out and has already left his mark in its history, playing a key role in the promotion-winning side of 2015.
Since returning, he has re-established himself at the heart of midfield, where his composure, passing range, and tireless work rate help set the rhythm of the team. Shad’s ability to win challenges, link play, and push the side forward makes him an important presence on the pitch, while his leadership qualities and understanding of the club bring added value.
A fans’ favourite, Shad’s passion, consistency, and willingness to give everything for the shirt have made him a popular figure at the Arena. Off the pitch, his character and positivity bring real energy to the dressing room, making him a key influence within the squad.
