Steve Butterworth joined Brentwood Town in October 2023 as part of Keith Rowland’s coaching team and has since become an important figure in the club’s management set-up. Working closely alongside the manager, Steve is heavily involved in shaping training sessions, developing tactics, and preparing the squad for matchdays. His attention to detail and ability to connect with players make him a trusted and influential presence both on the training ground and in the dressing room.
Before stepping into his role at Brentwood, Steve had already built a strong reputation within non-league football for his commitment and tactical insight. Known for spotting strengths in players and helping them fulfil their potential, he has been instrumental in supporting the squad’s development and ensuring Rowland’s vision is carried out on the pitch.
Since his arrival, Steve has contributed to one of the most successful periods in the club’s recent history, including the 2024/25 Isthmian North League title. Calm, approachable, and knowledgeable, he continues to be a vital part of Brentwood’s progression.
