Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Ansu Janneh.
The 27-year-old box-to-box midfielder joins The Blues with extensive experience across the National League and National League South, having featured at both Step 1 and Step 2 of the English football pyramid.
Born in Sweden, Janneh began his men’s footballing journey in England with Walton Casuals before going on to represent a number of clubs across the non-league game.
His career has seen him feature for the likes of Dagenham & Redbridge, Braintree Town, Havant & Waterlooville, Tonbridge Angels and Slough, while he also has previous experience in the Isthmian League with Billericay Town, Wingate & Finchley and Lewes.
A midfielder capable of contributing at both ends of the pitch, Janneh adds further experience and energy to Keith Rowland’s squad, and is available for selection immediately and could make his Brentwood Town debut on Saturday, as The Blues travel to Concord Rangers in the Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round.
Welcome to Brentwood Town, Ansu!
