A product of Brentwood Town’s youth and under-21 set-up, Andy Freeman has been part of the club’s fabric for more than a decade. He broke into the First Team at the end of the 2014/15 season and quickly made an impression, earning the Player of the Year award in 2015/16. After a spell away, Andy returned to the Blues at the start of the 2019/20 campaign and has once again established himself as a dependable and consistent performer, earning his second Player of the Year honour in 2022/23.
Primarily deployed at left-back or wing-back, Andy’s energy, defensive awareness, and ability to support the attack down the flank have made him a vital option for Brentwood. His versatility also allows him to slot into central defence when required, underlining his value to the squad.
With his mix of homegrown roots, loyalty, and on-field quality, Andy remains one of the club’s most respected and experienced players, contributing both defensively and in driving the team forward.
