Daniel Ogunleye returned to The Arena in the summer of 2023, bringing pace, flair, and goalscoring ability to Brentwood Town’s attack after spells with Herne Bay and Coggeshall Town. Comfortable playing anywhere across the front three, Daniel gives the Blues valuable versatility in the final third, able to stretch defences with his movement and create chances with his skill on the ball.
In his first season back, he made an immediate impact by scoring 12 goals during the 2023/24 campaign. That proved to be just the beginning, as the following year Daniel enjoyed a sensational season, finishing as the league’s top goalscorer with 36 goals and netting 43 in all competitions. His goalscoring exploits were central to Brentwood’s title-winning 2024/25 campaign, where the Blues lifted the Isthmian North League trophy.
A new fans’ favourite, Daniel’s pace, trickery, and natural eye for goal make him a constant threat. His energy and skill have not only lifted the team but also brought real excitement to supporters at the Arena
