Brentwood Town Women Appoint Darren Stacey as Joint-Manager

Brentwood Town Women are delighted to announce the appointment of Darren Stacey as Joint-Manager alongside Danny Parker ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Following successive promotions in the last two seasons, the Blues now find themselves competing in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division (Step 5). As the Club prepares for the challenges of a higher level, it has recognised the importance of strengthening the coaching and management structure to support the continued development of the women’s first team.

Darren arrives at the Brentwood Centre Arena with an impressive pedigree in the women’s game. He previously managed Hutton Women before taking a year out of football and enjoyed remarkable success during his time at the club.

In the 2024/25 season, Darren guided Hutton Women to the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One South title, finishing 14 points clear at the top of the table. His side also completed a historic treble by lifting the ERWFL League Plate and the Essex Women’s Trophy, while also progressing to the First Round Proper of the Women’s FA Cup.

Speaking after joining the Blues, Darren said:

“It’s fantastic to join the team after taking a break from women’s football last year after winning the treble the season before. I’ve known both Danny and Steve a very long time, and the Club sells itself with the stadium, facilities and now the challenge of tier 5 football!”

Darren will work alongside Danny Parker as Joint-Managers as Brentwood Town Women continue their preparations for life in the Premier Division.

The management and coaching team for the 2026/27 season will consist of:

  • Darren Stacey – Joint-Manager
  • Danny Parker – Joint-Manager
  • Andy Ludlow – First-Team Coach
  • Ben Niyro – Goalkeeping Coach
  • Steve Hunt – Head of Football

Everyone at Brentwood Town Football Club would like to welcome Darren to the Blues and wish him every success in his new role.
