Tuesday 4th April
PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN NORTH
WITHAM TOWN 1 – 1 BRENTWOOD TOWN

Both sides were looking for a win but they both had to settle for a draw, a point being of greater value to Witham who are not yet comfortably clear of the relegation zone in Isthmian North.

Brentwood goalkeeper Melvin Minter saved well from Arnold Mengi in the second minute and the visitors went close on twenty minutes when Rhys Madden could not hold Bryan Ifeanyi’s shot but the keeper did well to block Jack Adlington’s follow-up.

Connor Hogan put Brentwood in front on the half hour only for Ramiah Mills to equalise for Witham five minutes later.

Both sides strived for a winner in the second half with Witham’s Liam Whipps hitting the underside of the bar in the 49th minute and Jack Adlington hitting a post in the 57th minute.

Brentwood Town: 13 Melvin Minter, 2 James Folkes, 3 Andrew Freeman, 4 Rob Clark (Solomon Ogunwomoju 74'), 5 Matt Cripps, 6 Jack Humphrey, 7 Jack Adlington (Flavio Jumo 88'), 8 Connor Hogan, 9 Ross Wall, 10 George Craddock, 11 Bryan Ifeanyi.
