Brentwood Town are excited to announce the arrival of winger Kymani Thomas from Isthmian North outfit Waltham Abbey.
Kymani began his youth career at Dulwich Hamlet and Beckenham Town respectively, before moving to Herne Bay during the 2022/23 season. He netted ten league goals in 29 appearances including a brace in their two-all draw against Billericay Town.
After returning from a leg injury in September 2023, he scored a debut goal from the halfway line for Ashford Town in their 4-2 Velocity Cup victory over Ramsgate. He then completed a spell with Walthamstow, scoring six over the campaign before returning for the following season where he scored two against The Blues in our 3-2 victory over the Stow back in August.
Most recently, Kymani featured for Waltham Abbey contributing 11 league goals during his time at Capershotts. He also had a development deal at National League South outfit Ebbsfleet United in December and made his debut in their Kent Senior Cup fixture against Bromley.
When asked on signing for The Blues, Kymani said, “I spoke with Alex (Akrofi) and Ade Cole. They both had good things to say about the club. But when I went down to the club to speak with the gaffer and heard what the club want to achieve this season, it just made the most sense to me to join.
“The fans can expect a lot of exciting things; I just like to put smiles on faces and allow them to enjoy watching me play”.
Brentwood Town look forward to welcoming Kymani to The Blues for the 2025/26 season.
