Player Announcement: Max Hudson

Club News | 20 Jul 2025

Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the arrival of defender Max Hudson from fellow Isthmian Premier outfit Dulwich Hamlet.

Max began his career as a youth prodigy of the Tottenham Hotspur academy, before signing for Hertford Town where he quickly impressed and broke into their first team set up.

He trialled with the U21’s development side of Ipswich Town and was a part of the backline in their 3-0 home victory over Sheffield United.

Max returned to the club the following season and signed a professional contract, before heading to Concord Rangers where he permanently joined at the start of the 2023/24 season.

In March 2024, Max made his debut for Hayes and Yeading in their 2-2 draw with Swindon Supermarine and most recently joined Dulwich Hamlet. He went on to make a total of 28 appearances and found the net twice, with his first in The Hamlets’ 3-0 Senior Cup victory and a league goal as he opened the scoring in a 2-all draw with Chatham Town in April.

When asked on signing for The Blues, Max said, “After seeing the club get promoted last season and speaking to Keith, it really sounded like a club going in the right direction and a club that I wanted to be a part of.

“My biggest strengths are driving with the ball, my game understanding and set-piece deliveries. The fans can expect a very energetic player that can create goals and defend down the pitch.”

Brentwood Town extend their welcome to Max for the 2025/26 season.
