Keith Rowland previews Chichester City (H)

Manager, Keith Rowland, sat down with us ahead of our final home league game of the regular season vs Chichester City tomorrow afternoon.

3 points on Saturday would ensure a 4th place finish – our highest ever league finish of the modern club – which would be a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.

Keith said he would love a good crowd for this game:

“We’ve got the game on Saturday to try and finish fourth, which is important because you just never know. You could find yourself on the bank holiday [Monday] with a home game, which would be fantastic for the football club” said manager Rowland.

“[And] secondly it’s momentum. Chichester obviously gave us a helping hand [last] Saturday, but they’re a decent team, so we need to put that one to bed here on Saturday. And it’s our last home game of the season, so we want to put a good show on for hopefully a good crowd that turns out for us.”

There’s obviously plenty going on this weekend, but we’d love to see as many of you as possible down at the Arena supporting the boys ahead of the play-offs.

Keith continued “I know West Ham are at home on Saturday, but for us, I would love to see a good crowd here on Saturday for the players because they do deserve that, they really do deserve that, and everybody behind the scenes deserves that as well.

“The icing on the cake will be a semi-final that’s for sure. Whether it’s Billericay, whether it’s Aveley, it all depends really. It will be a great achievement, but we won’t be overawed by it, and we’ll go into it full of confidence.”
