MATCH PREVIEW
THE BLUES
Brentwood have endured a tricky start to the season. They won their opening match against Burgess Hill Town but have been winless in the league since. However, they will have gained plenty of confidence from their Emirates FA Cup tie against Concord Rangers.
The initial match ended in a 0-0 draw at Thames Road, but the Blues eventually reached the Second Qualifying Round following a 4-2 victory at The Arena. It turned into a chaotic affair in the second half, but Brentwood managed to stay on top, with Bradley Sach’s added-time goal helping to secure the result.
Ansu Janneh and Cameron Forde-Brown both scored on their home debuts, with the latter producing a stunning free-kick, while Malachi Linton also found the net for the first time in a Brentwood shirt.
For Keith Rowland’s side, it was a refreshing break from league action, and they will look to take the learnings from both matches into this weekend’s trip to Champion Hill and secure their second league win of the season.
THE HAMLET
Dulwich have started the season well and currently occupy a play-off spot, with 10 points from their opening six matches.
They turned heads on the opening day by putting six past newly promoted Maldon & Tiptree and have suffered just two defeats so far this campaign.
They also progressed to the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, putting four past East Grinstead Town in a fantastic attacking display at home. Ogo Obi bagged a hat-trick and will be one to watch heading into Saturday’s clash.
Their last league outing also ended in victory, beating a Leatherhead side who have been very competitive so far this season.
Hamlet have also had an extra few days’ rest after not requiring a midweek replay, meaning Keith Rowland will need to utilise his squad to keep the Blues fresh against strong opposition.
FINAL WORD
It will certainly be a tough test for Brentwood, but following their win last time out and with the quality the squad have shown at times this season, the Blues have what it takes to go to Champion Hill and come away with all three points.

Limited parking is available at the ground, with some on-street parking available within a five-minute walk. Please check local parking restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
Paid parking is also available at the adjacent Sainsbury’s via Horizon Spaces.
By Train
Nearest stations:
East Dulwich: 5-minute walk
Denmark Hill: 10-minute walk or a short bus journey
From East Dulwich:
Turn left past the pizza shop and Morley’s, then walk through the park at the bottom of the hill. The ground will be visible ahead.
For midweek games, when the park gates may be closed, walk halfway up the hill and turn left at the traffic lights.
From Denmark Hill:
Turn left onto Champion Park. Buses from the stop opposite the Salvation Army Training College pass the ground – approximately three stops away.
Alternatively, continue past the bus stop, turn right and walk up the incline. Go straight over the traffic lights at the top of Dog Kennel Hill. The ground is halfway down on the right, accessed via Edgar Kail Way.

Services run from London Bridge to East Dulwich, and from London Victoria/Blackfriars to Denmark Hill.

Routes 40, 42, 484, 185, 176 and P13 stop on Dog Kennel Hill or turn into Edgar Kail Way by Sainsbury’s.

Supporters are strongly advised to arrive early.
Dulwich Hamlet had several sell-outs for Saturday matches last season, with congestion at the turnstiles common from around 2:30pm through to kick-off.
Seating is first-come, first-served.

Champion Hill is largely cashless, so please bring a credit or debit card for food and drink purchases.
The exceptions are matchday programmes and 50/50 draws, which can be paid for in cash.
