Blues Sign Defender Jayden Gipson

Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender Jayden Gipson, following his recent departure from Essex neighbours Aveley.

The 25-year-old arrives at The Arena having left Parkside earlier this month and adds further versatility to Brett Munyard’s squad, with Gipson comfortable operating at both centre-back and full-back.

The move also sees Jayden link back up with Munyard, having played under the Blues boss at Aveley last season.

Gipson was part of the Millers side that enjoyed a strong 2025/26 campaign, helping them to a second-place finish in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

The defender began his career with Braintree Town, progressing into the first-team set-up at Cressing Road and gaining further senior experience through loan spells with Coggeshall Town and Felixstowe & Walton United during his time with the Iron.

Following his departure from Braintree, Jayden went on to join Coggeshall permanently and has since represented Enfield, Maldon & Tiptree and Cambridge City before his move to Aveley.

After the move was completed, Jayden said:

“I’m excited to join Brentwood and to be a part of this project moving forward. I’ve already met the boys and we have a strong squad that’s ready to push on up the league.

I can’t wait to get started and meet you all!”

Jayden now joins up with the Blues and is available for selection ahead of tonight’s Isthmian League Premier Division fixture against Cheshunt at The Arena.

He becomes the latest addition to Brett Munyard’s squad as Brentwood look to build on last week’s 3-0 victory over Dartford.

Welcome to The Arena, Jayden!
