Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the arrival of Alejandro Machado from fellow Isthmian Premier outfit Aveley.
The left-footed midfielder joins The Blues having made eight league appearances with The Millars and contributed a late 96th minute winner in their 2-1 victory over AFC Sudbury, to progress Aveley into the next qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Alejandro began his career as a youth prodigy of the Real Madrid academy and spent over six years there, before pursuing football in England.
He joined South Park FC in the Isthmian South Central Division and later made the move to Woodford Town, where he contributed seven goals in 28 appearances.
In 2023, Alejandro became a debutant for Guiseley FC in their 3-1 league victory over Marine in the Norther Premier Division, before completing a spell at Basildon United.
Most recently, he joined Grays Athletic and provided 14 goals in 37 appearances, including the sole goal against his former club in the Isthmian North Division back in March. He received the award for the club’s top scorer at the end of the 2024/25 season before joining The Millars in the summer.
When asked on his arrival at Brentwood, Alejandro said, “I have always admired and respected Brentwood Town as a club.
“From their way of playing football to the support the team gets and how the club is run, it has a family feel to it.
“My biggest strengths are technical ability, physicality and shot power. The fans can expect passion, flair and goals!”
Assistant-Manager Steve Butterworth also commented on the signing of Machado:
”[I’m] very pleased to get ‘Ale’ in with us. He's a player again from the [Isthmian] North last season that we really liked.
Has a bit of everything and [we] think will fit in really well with the group.”
Brentwood Town look forward to welcoming Alejandro to The Blues for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
