Brentwood Town 1-1 Dartford
Brentwood Town extend their unbeaten league run to 10 matches, with a point a piece settled with Dartford.
The Blues came close to securing an early lead when a flicked header from Charlee Hughes finding the path of Louie Johnson, with his effort struck straight at Jonny Henly.
The visitors found a chance with a low range shot from inside the box by Eddie Dsane comfortably saved, before an identical attempt by Dan Smith was met by a diving save from Melvin Minter.
Alejandro Machado looked to find the opener as he picked up the ball centrally on the edge of the box but his powerful strike forcing a stretched tip-over save from Henly, before a cross fell narrowly behind Callum Jones at the other end of the field.
On the stroke of half time The Blues had a flurry of chances with Danny Ogunleye’s shot struck above the bar and an out-of-the-box strike from debutant Fletcher Hubbard fired wide of the left post.
Samir Carruthers converted a free kick early into the second half to put The Darts ahead.
However, Brentwood continued with their attack with Manny Ogunrinde heading a curling cross by Ogunleye onto the crossbar, before a striking free kick into the top left corner of goal by Machado forcing the gloves of Henly.
Hughes found The Blues an equaliser 12 minutes on as he tapped home a loose ball delivered by captain Matt Cripps from close range, netting his fifth of the season.
