Brentwood Town continued their winning run from their historic victory in Hereford into the league campaign as they secured a 4-0 victory over Gorleston.
The visitors came close to scoring as their top goal scorer Alby Matthews came one on one with Melvin Minter before he was dispossessed in the box by Matt Cripps.
A shot by Kai Brown was denied by Jake Jessup, before the rebound of Jesse Olukolu followed suit.
On the brink of half time the long range shot of Dominic Docherty rattled against the crossbar and kept both sides level.
Three minutes after the restart, Brown put The Blues in front as he cut behind Jessup and slotted the ball into the right corner.
Just 12 minutes later, Brown got his second as he picked up an Olukolu cross and fired it across goal.
Danny Ogunleye got his 9th of the league campaign as he tucked his shot under Jessup to make it three.
But Brown managed to get his first hat-trick in a Brentwood shirt as he slotted away another into the bottom of the goal and concluded the scoring.
This victory puts The Blues into 9th position on 23 points with four games in hand over league leaders, Bury Town.
They are back in league action this Tuesday as they welcome Grays Athletic to The Arena.
