Everyone at Brentwood Town Football Club would like to congratulate our Women’s First Team on securing promotion for the second consecutive season.
This latest success marks another significant milestone in what has been a remarkable journey for the team since its introduction ahead of the 2024/25 season, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the football club.
The talented young squad, which combines youthful energy with valuable experience, had previously played together for several seasons as Billericay Town Development. During their time together, they enjoyed notable success, including lifting the BBC Essex Women’s Trophy two years ago.
In their inaugural season as Brentwood Town Women, the side produced an excellent campaign, finishing 4th in the Essex County Women’s Football League Premier Division (Step 7). Their impressive performances earned promotion to the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One South (Step 6), laying the foundations for continued success.
The team has now gone one step further by securing a second consecutive promotion, meaning Brentwood Town Women will compete in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division (Step 5) next season.
Back-to-back promotions are a testament to the hard work, commitment and determination shown by the players, coaching staff and volunteers throughout their time at the club. Their achievements have not only delivered success on the pitch but have also helped establish Brentwood Town Women as one of the most exciting and ambitious teams in the region.
