Sadly, we have to report that former Brentwood Town defender Christian Mbulu has passed away at the age of just 23. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.

Christian joined Brentwood Town in 2013 at the age of 17 and made 57 first team appearances for the Club and was a member of the side that won promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division in 2015. At the end of that season he signed a professional contact with Millwall FC before playing for Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League and English League clubs Crewe Alexander and Morecambe.

Christian's burial will take place on Friday 3rd July at 11.15am at City of London Cemetery and Crematorium, Aldersbrook road, Manor Park, London E12 5DQ.
