First half goal sees Brentwood beaten in Norfolk

Brentwood suffered a disappointing defeat in Norfolk to a Wroxham team who remain close to the relegation zone despite earning their first home win of the season.

The home team took a 28th minute lead through Shaun Taylor who finished from close range after Conley Poynter’s shot had hit the underside of the bar.

Harry Girling saved well from Taylor just before halftime and although Brentwood dominated at times in the second half the could not create many clear cut chances and it the Yachtsmen who went closest to scoring again but he was denied by a goal line clearance by Matt Cripps.
