Ipswich Wanderers vs Brentwood Town
30/12/23 3PM Kick off
SEH Sports Ground

Our final fixture of 2023 sees us travel up the A12 to face Ipswich Wanderers. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of our trip to Suffolk.

Last time out:

Brentwood Town head into the fixture on the back of a 3-1 victory away to Witham Town. Despite going 1-0 down in the first minute, the Blues recovered well to secure a convincing victory, with Mekhi McKenzie netting twice and George Sykes also finding the net.

Opposition focus:

Ipswich Wanderers secured promotion to the Isthmian League North Division after winning the Eastern Counties League Premier Division, their second promotion in two seasons. They currently sit 16th in the league table and have taken three points from their last eighteen available, with those points coming thanks to a home win against Bury Town in November.

The teams met in the league back in September, with Brentwood Town securing a 1-0 victory at home. The Suffolk side are managed by former Lewiston and Braintree Town boss Glen Driver. He took over after a difficult start to life at step 4 for the Wanderers.
