Max Hudson Commits Future to the Blues

Brentwood Town Football Club are delighted to announce that Max Hudson has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the Club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The 22-year-old left-back has agreed terms to extend his stay at The Arena after an impressive first season in sky blue and another strong start to the current campaign.

Max initially joined the Blues ahead of the 2025/26 season, having impressed the management team while on trial during our pre-season schedule.

A former Tottenham Hotspur academy prospect, Max went on to break into senior football with Hertford Town before earning an opportunity with Ipswich Town’s U21 development side, featuring in a 3-0 victory over Sheffield United.

He later returned to Ipswich and signed a professional contract before moving on to Concord Rangers, where he joined permanently ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Max subsequently featured for Hayes & Yeading United before joining Dulwich Hamlet, making 28 appearances and scoring twice for the South London side prior to his move to Brentwood.

An Impressive First Season

Max quickly established himself as a key member of the Blues squad during the 2025/26 campaign, making 38 appearances in all competitions.

However, it was his creativity from left-back that really caught the eye.

Max registered an outstanding 15 assists across the season – more than any other Brentwood Town player – with his dangerous deliveries and set-piece ability causing opposition defences plenty of problems throughout the campaign.

His performances made him an important part of the side during our first season back at Step 3.

Committed to the Blues

Max has remained a regular starter during the opening months of the 2026/27 campaign, making 10 appearances so far this season.

He also opened his Brentwood Town goalscoring account in September, finding the net during our emphatic 5-1 victory over Maldon & Tiptree at The Arena.

An injury during October has temporarily halted his progress, but we hope to see Max back out on the pitch and in a Brentwood shirt again soon.

Securing Max’s future is another important step as we continue to build and keep together a squad capable of progressing both this season and beyond.

At just 22 years old, Max has already become an important member of the group, and his new contract is thoroughly deserved following his performances since arriving at The Arena.

Congratulations, Max!
