Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the arrival of midfielder Sid Walker ahead of the 2026/27 Isthmian League Premier Division season.
The 22-year-old returns to the Blues after beginning his football journey within Brentwood’s youth system, progressing through the club’s successful EJA setup before moving into senior football with Basildon United in 2022.
After making over 60 appearances across two seasons with Basildon United, Walker earned a move to Grays Athletic, where he has spent the last two campaigns establishing himself as a reliable and hardworking midfielder at Step 4 level. In total, the midfielder arrives at the Brentwood Centre Arena with 138 senior appearances despite still being only 22 years of age.
A player known for his energy, work rate and consistency in the middle of the park, Walker becomes the latest addition to the Blues squad as preparations continue for the upcoming Premier Division campaign.
The move also marks a special homecoming, with Walker returning to the club where his development began before progressing into senior football.
After returning to The Arena, Walker said:
“[I’m] buzzing to be back at Brentwood where I started my footballing journey. Can’t wait to meet the team, fans and everyone involved with the club and help the club achieve great things this year.”
Everyone at Brentwood Town FC would like to welcome Sid back to the club and wish him every success in Sky Blue for the 2026/27 season.
