It’s another huge game on the road for the Blues as they travel to West Sussex to face a strong Burgess Hill Town side.
The Blues
Brentwood managed a draw last time out, in a huge match at the top of the Isthmian Premier table, a goalless stalemate against fellow play-off competitors Chatham Town.
Both teams created numerous chance in an entertaining 0-0 draw, with the two goalkeepers stealing the show. Both Aiden Prall and Nathan Harvey crucial saves for their teams, allowing them both to keep a clean sheet.
It leaves the Blues now 5th in the table, 1 point behind Billericay who move above Brentwood following their victory over Burgess Hill Town, who the Blues now take on.
The Hillians
Burgess Hill Town are 8th in the table, pushing the teams fighting for the play-offs. They are ten points behind the Blues, outside shouts for one of the four spots.
Their last result was that loss to Billericay, 4-0 the final score. An own goal put the hosts in front, with Elliot Long, Frankie Merrifield and Alfie Cerulli all finding the net themselves.
One to watch in this one is George Vorster who has bagged thirteen goals this season, two of which came three games ago. The Hillians have not found the net for two matches now, so will look to get the ball to their dangerous attackers in this match.
Final word
It’s yet another massive game for Keith Rowland’s side who have played two of the top three teams in their last games, but the Hillians will pose a tough test as they look to close the gap to the play-off spots.
