Blues Secure Prolific Forward Nat Mardell

Brentwood Town FC are delighted to announce the arrival of exciting young forward Nat Mardell ahead of the 2026/27 Isthmian League Premier Division campaign.

The 21-year-old arrives at the Brentwood Centre Arena after an impressive rise through the ranks at Stanway Rovers, where he developed from youth football into a key figure in the club’s first-team success.

Mardell enjoyed a standout 2025/26 season, making 42 appearances, chipping in with 10 assists, and scoring 27 goals in all competitions to finish as Stanway’s leading goalscorer and the third-highest scorer in the Isthmian League North Division. His goals played a major role as Rovers secured promotion through the play-offs, continuing an incredible period of success for the club. He was also named in the North Division Team of the Season for 25/26.

Comfortable operating both as a central striker and in wide attacking positions, Mardell brings pace, versatility and an eye for goal to the Blues’ attacking options.

His journey began with Stanway Rovers’ Under 18s before progressing through the Under 23s and then into the first team, where he went on to make more than 100 appearances across three seasons. During that time, he helped the club achieve back-to-back promotions as they climbed from the Essex Senior League to the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Away from club football, Mardell was recognised for his talent and attitude during his time at Sigma Sports Academy, where he collected both the Players’ Player and Coaches’ Player awards in 2023.

Now making the move to Brentwood Town, Mardell joins the Blues as one of the most exciting young attacking talents in non-league football.

After becoming a Blue, Mardell said:

“I can’t wait for the season to start and to get going. The club’s expectations and goals are very clear and I’m looking forward to helping them achieve this.”

Everyone at Brentwood Town would like to welcome Nat to the club and wish him every success in a sky blue shirt.
