Match preview: Enfield

Club News | 9 Nov 2023

It’s back to league business for The Blues this weekend, as we make the trip over the Essex border to Bishops Stortford, to face Enfield.

We head into Keith Rowland’s third league fixture in charge on the back of a comfortable 5-0 win against May and Baker in the Essex Thames-Side Trophy. Our last league outing saw us win 2-0 at Bowers and Pitsea.

Our opponents Enfield returned to Step 4 after being promoted from the Essex Senior League as champions last season.

Alex Salmon’s side are without a win in their last five in the league, being defeated by Felixstowe and Walton United, Basildon United, Lowestoft Town and Maldon and Tiptree. They picked up a point against Witham Town and currently sit 14th in the league with 10 points.
