JEZ DICKINSON SHARES HIS VISION FOR BRENTWOOD TOWN

Club News | 30 May 2020

Firstly, I hope everyone and their families have kept safe and well during this difficult time in Lockdown.

Regarding football at Brentwood Town FC, the club has now put in place an ambitious and clear vision for this season coming and beyond. The new management infrastructure both on and off the pitch is now secured and fresh new investment regarding the pitch, the facilities and most of all the players is planned and available.

On the pitch, I am pleased to say that Adam Flanagan will remain as manager. Our ambitions for the club align perfectly and we will be working closely with the aim of pushing this club up the league pyramid. National South Football is the realistic ambition in three years, so in effect two promotions in three years. That means the Club needs to have the mindset of a National South Club now.

We were recently awarded Charter Standard status by the FA, just the first step in the Club’s progression both on and off the pitch. An under 23s development squad will also be a new key part of the dynamics of the club with a Youth pathway fully utilised.

Nothing in life worth doing is easy and it certainly won’t be. There are a lot of very good sides in this league, but Brentwood Town will be unrecognizable both on and off the pitch from last year. The foundation of success that the club will be built on will be hard work, self- belief and a winning mentality running throughout the whole club. We are definitely looking forward to the new season starting again.

Best wishes and stay safe and healthy.
