LOWESTOFT TOWN 3 – 3 BRENTWOOD TOWN

Brentwood led three times against play-off placed Lowestoft but were pegged back each time in an entertaining match which manager Craig Shipman thought they did enough to deserve a win.

Bryan Ifeanyi had a goal disallowed for offside in the 12th minute, but the visitors were ahead six minutes later through Ross Wall’s fine long-range strike. Solomon Ogunwomoju shot over the Lowestoft crossbar from a good position in the 26th minute but Sam Johnson equalised for the Trawlerboys in the 34th minute, only for Jack Adlington to restore the lead a minute later, finishing off a good move, but it was 2-2 in the 39th minute, Kyle Haylock the scorer for Lowestoft.

Ifeanyi put Brentwood ahead again two minutes into the second half but Josh Harvey’s penalty in he 73rd minute meant the points were shared.
